Following a Silverfin file

The Following function is a useful ability within Silverfin that allows us to report on a files by a group of users (anyone that is following that file). We can therefore create a client list by those that are involved with that file (being far shorter lists than all clients within Silverfin), and we can report in that client list matters such as workflow progress, as below:

Note that this screen can take some time to load as it is doing quite a lot of work across all of our clients, but we expect it to be used regularly but not, say, hourly.     

If you work a lot in a file that you do not follow, you may be promoted in a large yellow box at the top of the Client Home screen to "Follow" that file. Alternatively if you look at the bottom of the any client home screen you will see:

and you can click on follow (or if you want to stop following unfollow) here. Please ignore the reference to @internal above - do not use this address as there should not be any circumstances that you want to alert all users of a file to action being needed and this also generates an email for that day to all followers.
