Set up a sync with Sage One / Sage Business Cloud Accounting

If you need to setup a client sync with Sage Business Cloud Accounting, please contact IT support as they will temporarily increase your permissions in Silverfin to allow you to set up the sync.

Setting up the integration to Sage Business Cloud:

1. From your home (not client) landing page navigate to 'Syncs' from the top, lower panel.

2. Once you're in, select the 'Add New Sync' button.

3. In the pop up select 'Connect with Sage Business Cloud Accounting ' from the drop-down list. This will navigate you out of Silverfin to log on to Sage One through a secure Single Sign-On (SSO). 

4. Next, select your Country, and then log-in with your Sage One account details. 

The integration is now set up....so what now? 

You'll still need to add a new client using the FC client creation facility accessed via Frank (N.B. Do not use the 'Add New Client' button in Silverfin which will be available while you hae increased permissions). When you want to now set up a Sync, Sage Business Cloud Accounting with your name (or the name you set the sync up as) will now appear as an option in the dropdown menu when selecting 'Synchronisation Type'. 

However, it's important to note that you cannot set up multiple integrations in one sitting without first logging out of Sage Business Cloud. You'll need to re-authenticate in order to do this.

If you know how to use it you can use incognito mode on your web browser and then go ahead and add the new integration.

Once complete IT support will set your permissions back to normal.
